Interview with Kevin Tackaberry
Kevin Tackaberry graduated from Athens District High School, where he was an active and engaged student. During his time there, he participated in student parliament and served as prime minister in his final year. He also contributed to the yearbook and, after graduating, joined the alumni committee. Beyond school, Kevin has remained an active member of the community and is part of the well-known Athens family, Tackaberry.

Interview with Jonathan Tennant
Here is a podcast of Jonathan Tennant, a previous student from Athens District High School during the 1970's and 1980's. He shares some of his favourite memories from his time at the school, and his hobbies and interests that started there many years ago. He talks about his life growing up in this area, and some of the historical events he has lived through. He highlights some history of the “Recorder and Times” newspaper, and memories he has of working there during the Ice Storm of 1998. He also talks about how times have changed in this area and the school, specifically surrounding technology, and he provides some sound advice for future generations.

Interview with Stephen MacKinnon, Dustin and David
Stephen MacKinnon was an award-winning teacher at Athens District High School, widely recognized for his innovative use of technology in the classroom. During the 2000–2001 school year, his A.D.H.S. technology class gained notable acclaim for developing a collaborative website which showcased teenagers’ perspectives on global issues and featured a wide range of creative and thought-provoking content.

Interview with Kent Mainse
Kent Mainse grew up in Athens, Ontario, where he attended Athens High School in the 1950's. During his school years, he was actively involved in cadets, an experience that taught him discipline, including how to stand at attention and salute. He fondly shares stories from his time in high school, as well as his experiences working in the Athens community.
