BCI Fire, Rebuilding and Addition

The original Brockville Collegiate Institute building was build in 1889. It was destroyed by fire on March 8, 1929. The school was subsequently rebuilt and reopened two years later in 1931. In the mid 1980s, another major renovation was undertaken to add a new gymnasium, cafeteria and expanded library to the school.​
